A Tradition of Excellence

Plummer, 4x400 State Champions

6-12 - Blaine (KP)  The MSHSL State Meet was supposed to be the first time all year that the Mounds View 4x400 team was going to be pushed. It looks like they will have to wait until next season.
The relay team of Quinn Evans, Andrew Yokom, Levon Trainor, and Collin Plummer, blew away the competition at the State Meet as if it were the Roseville Invite. Their final time of 3:18.81 was not only three seconds faster then their seed time, it was good enough to break the Mounds View record set in 2000.
Evans, who also ran in the 400-meter dash earlier in the day, lead off for the Mustangs. He completed his lap in 50 seconds before handing it off to the captain Yokom, and the race was over.

Website Renovations

4/11 Columbia - The webmaster who made the Mounds View football website has agreed to help design and help maintain a new, more professional website. He has done excellent work with the football website which can be seen at <>.

The new website will have more in-depth records taken from the Mounds View Track Book aswell as a more interactive hall of fame, coach bios, more photographs, a domain, and a history of Mounds View track before and during the True Team Era. There is also a possibility of adding Mounds View track e-mail addresses and a members section where updated results would be available. All content on this site will also be available on the new one.

The new site has been layed out but creation won't start for a few weeks still. There is no timetable for full completion of the site but most of the work will be done during the summer. If you know of potential advertisers, please email the webmaster of this site

Collin Plummer lead the Mustangs to a sixth place finish at the state meet by winning the 800-meter run as well as anchoring the state champion and new school record holding 4x400 relay team.
